I started with a brain storm of ‘what I needed to be remind full of’. For this assignment I will be 3d modeling a Lego block in Rhino. Overall, this is a small product to model, so I have to measure very carefully to get an accurate measurement.

Then I did a 2d plan in AutoCad (units are all in millimeters). Since they’re all connected, I did my model from this 2d plan instead of an exploded diagram.

Finally, I get to the part to make a model in Rhino, it took me a while to figure out how to make the rounded side with a hollow shape in the middle. 

Here is the rendered version of my Lego block, and I managed to find the same texture as the one I am taking reference of.
